Permissions

AR features need access to your camera and motion sensors. We'll ask now so it's done.

  • Camera — shows the real world behind overlays
  • Compass — knows which direction you're facing (for wind, scent)
  • Gyroscope — tracks phone angle (for rangefinder, shot arc)

We never record or upload video. All AR processing happens in your browser.

3
Calibration

To get accurate compass and rangefinder readings:

  • Hold phone flat — screen parallel to ground for a moment
  • Figure-8 motion — move phone in a figure-8 to calibrate compass (iOS/Android auto-calibrate this)
  • Stand outside — compass is unreliable near metal or large buildings
  • Face a known direction — verify reading matches reality before relying on it
Tip: If compass drifts, open Google Maps or Apple Maps for 10 seconds — their calibration UI gets the sensor warmed up faster.
4
Launch AR

You're all set. Pick an AR experience:

Each AR tool can be launched directly from the main menu. This setup guide is saved — you won't have to repeat it.
